Membership meeting held by cycling club

The Alta Alpina Cycling Club will conduct its annual membership meeting at 6 p.m. April 25 at the lake Tahoe Golf Course Clubhouse, 2500 U.S. Highway 50.

Dinner will be available for $20 for nonmembers and is free for members. Events will include a raffle and Ron Peck, P.T. will discuss training techniques.

The Alta Alpina Cycling Club is a local club with members from the Lake Tahoe, Minden, Gardnerville and Carson City areas. The club sponsors the annual Death Ride tour of the California Alps, the Pine Nut Cracker Mountain Bike Race, the Carson Valley Classic road races, Wednesday evening races throughout the season and Saturday and Sunday group rides.
