Methodist music department offers Blast from the Past

The music department of the Carson Valley United Methodist Church at 1375 Centerville Road in Gardnerville, under the direction of Cindy McIntosh, will present its second annual variety show, “A Blast from the Past,” on Sunday, June 27, at 6:30 p.m.

There will be solos, duets, trios and quartets, in addition to three numbers performed by the entire group. The program contains popular music from the ’50s and ’60s.

Cost is $5 per person or $20 for a family of four or more, and dessert following the performance is included in the price of the ticket.
