Michael E. Schreiner

Michael E. Schreiner died at his home in South Lake Tahoe on Sept. 14, 2005. He was 40.

He was born on April 1, 1965. Mr. Schreiner was a member of the Air Assault Team for the 101st Airborne “Screaming Eagles” peace-keeping forces on the Sinai Peninsula. He worked as a deputy sheriff for Modoc County and a police officer for the city of Oakland.

Mr. Schreiner is survived by his wife, Dilianna Schreiner of South Lake Tahoe; mother Sally Schreiner of Glendora, Calif.; father Eugene Schreiner of Alturas; brothers Greg Schreiner of Victorville, Calif., Steve Schreiner of Orange, Calif., and Paul Schreiner of Gardnerville; and several nephews and nieces. Graveside services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Happy Homestead Cemetery.
