Michael J. Wolfe

A celebration of life will take place Oct. 4 for Michael Joseph Wolfe, who died unexpectedly of a heart attack Sept. 28, 2007.

Mike was born June 4, 1955, to Clifford and Ione Wolfe in Fontana, Calif., and was a graduate of Aquinas High School in San Bernardino, Calif. He was an artist, and moved to South Lake Tahoe in 1977, where he spent most of the next 30 years. Mike was devoted to his family and friends and loved nature and the world around him. His passions were biking, art and hiking. Always a blessing, Michael was a gift and touched all who knew him. His loving ways and free spirit will be missed.s

He is survived by his son, Tyler Wolfe of Redmond, Wash.; loving parents, Clifford and Ione Wolfe of Napa, Calif.; sister, Therese Peterson of Vallejo, Calif.; and brothers, Clifford Wolfe of Las Vegas, Nev., Patrick Wolfe of Walnut Creek, Calif., Charles Wolfe of Santa Rosa, Calif., Joseph Wolfe of Seattle, Wash., and John Wolfe of South Lake Tahoe.

Friends will gather to celebrate Mike’s life from 2 to 5 p.m. Oct. 4 at Nevada State Beach.
