Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Aris P. Arriola recently received the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal. The son of David and Leonida Brown of Zephyr Cove, he joined the Marine Corps in Aug. 1997.

The Good Conduct Medal recognizes the service member’s honest and faithful service during a three-year period. To earn it Arriola achieved and maintained a satisfactory level of performance and an unblemished conduct record for the entire period.

Arriola is currently assigned with Combat Service Group One, 1st Force Service Support Group, Twentynine Palms, Calif.
