Missing child found with father

Gregory Crofton

A worried mother asked law enforcement to search for her 10-year-old son after she discovered him missing Saturday.

The search started at 1:45 p.m. with law enforcement bringing out horses, dogs and a search and rescue unit to canvass the neighborhood and comb woods near the boy’s home on Tata Lane.

A records check at Six Flags Marine World in San Francisco told police the boy’s father had used a season pass at the park on Saturday.

The search ended abruptly at 5:49 p.m. when the boy’s mother, Julie McKerrihan, got a call from the boy’s father. He told her he and the boy were in Fairfield, Calif., staying at a motel.
