Missing woman may be at South Shore

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department is searching for Mary Lou Morales who was reported missing by her husband on Jan. 25.

Morales is 67-years-old and has brown hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds.

Sgt. Tim Minister said he does not suspect foul play, but that the Morales’ family is concerned for her welfare. She is believed to be staying in a motel in the South Lake Tahoe area and was last seen driving a gray 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass sedan, with Nevada license plate number 063GGZ.

The sheriff’s office would appreciate help from the community in locating her. Anyone with information can contact Keith Logan at (775) 586-7250.
