Monday’s ski and board report for Heavenly, Sierra-at-Tahoe and Kirkwood

This report is for Monday, Feb. 4, 2008.

Heavenly reports fetching 4 to 5 inches of fresh snow overnight on top of the 2 to 3 feet it netted from the weekend. Lifts open at 9 a.m.

All lifts open except for World Cup. Five terrain parks open.



Partly cloudy with light to moderate winds.

Powder, skier packed powder, machine-groomed powder.

Kirkwood Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe continues to groom all 80 kilometers of trail each morning. Meadow trails are groomed first then the trails at the Xcountry lodge, before heading up to Coyote Pass at the top of the trail system. The traditional classic skiing is great in these cold conditions. Upcoming Ski Skate Clinic on Feb. 10.
