MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa has named Brett Hunn as its new marketing director.

Hunn, a 10-year Northern Nevada gaming veteran, has a marketing and gaming background and extensive knowledge of the region, a press release stated. He recently worked for M1 Gaming on the acquisition of Boomtown Casino & Hotel and as the director of marketing from 2012-13. He held various casino marketing positions at The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort Spa and Casino from 2004-12.

Hunn is originally from Sacramento, Calif., and attended the California State University of Chico graduating in 2004 with a degrees in Agricultural Business and Marketing.

“How does one go from agriculture to gaming/marketing — it’s simple I love to help cultivate, tame, nurture and watch things flourish,” Hunn stated in the release. “I’d bet on it that our energetic team will continue to expand what MontBleu has to offer. Our focus is to make the casino a vibrant, entertaining and hip with a variety of gaming options, promotions, dining and nightlife to drawl the locals and surrounding markets.”
