Dance the night away with a loaded night of dubstep at MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa. On Saturday, Aug. 12, four electronic acts (and Tahoe Fire Dancers) will take over Blu Nightclub.

“We are hosting a showcase of our area’s top electronic producers Benjah Ninjah and Subdocta as they return from their From the Shadows national tour,” states Tahoe South’s webpage for the event.

Santa Cruz, California, native Shlump (Michael Petzel) will headline the dubstep-filled evening. Petzel began making music at a young age.

“Over the years, Michael has played in many different bands of wide variations of styles and genres. Along with music production, Michael also has a background in classical guitar and an innate understanding of sound theory.

“Throughout his teenage years, Shlump fiddled around with production, recording and collaborating with lyricists and friends, but seriously dove into the art around 2009,” continues the webpage.

Bay Area-based artist Sub Rootz will also perform at the gig, which begins at 10 p.m.

Tickets for the packed evening are sold for $15 in advance and $17 on the day of the show. Prices do not include tax and fees. Visit http://www.montbleuresort.com to purchase tickets and learn more about the event.

MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa is located at 55 U.S. 50 in Stateline.
