An all-new film series is hitting South Shore, brought to the public by The Shops at Heavenly Village, Heavenly Sports, Dreu Murin Productions and Red Bull.

Known as The Heavenly Village Film Series, the monthly events run through June and include screenings of various Red Bull Media House adventure movies at Heavenly Village Cinemas. The first installment — “The Fourth Phase” — is set for Friday, Jan. 19.

“Inspired by the hydrological cycle, iconic snowboarder Travis Rice and his team embark on a 16,000 mile (26,000 km) journey to some of the most dreamlike landscapes around the North Pacific, discovering more than new terrain,” states Red Bull TV’s description of “The Fourth Phase.”

All films begin at 9:30 p.m. and cost a $10 donation to attend. Entry fee proceeds are given to a different local nonprofit each week. Those from “The Fourth Phase” will go towards Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association.

“Don’t miss a great night out with friends and family!” states the Heavenly Village website.

The Heavenly Village Film Series continues on Friday, Feb. 23, with a screening of Red Bull Media House’s “Tracing Skylines.”
