Shana Morrison performs Sunday at the El Dorado Hills Art & Wine Affaire.

The fifth annual El Dorado Hills Art & Wine Affaire this weekend has many choices for the palate and from the palette.

The two-day event will feature more than 100 artists and several musical performers, including singer Shana Morrison.

Like the town of El Dorado Hills, the event has grown exponentially. What started out in 2004 as the opening party for Hang It Up’s second gallery in the Town Center has increased to 12,000 in attendance in last year.

In 2005 the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce came on board to help grow the event, and from that strategic alliance came the idea to invite wineries to participate. The public embraced the addition of the wineries in time for the 2006 event.

Organizers ask that all eventgoers park at Blue Shield of California (just across the street from Town Center Boulevard off Latrobe Road, and take advantage of the free shuttles provided by one of our top sponsors, Jackson Rancheria Hotel & Casino.
