Motorcycle club holds info meeting

Motorcycle enthusiasts who are interested in joining a motorcycle club at Lake Tahoe are welcome to attend a meeting June 28 to show their support. The third meeting to organize the new club will begin at 7 p.m. at Cutting Edge Sports, 3930 Lake Tahoe Blvd.

Anyone concerned with many of the current issues regarding trails, track and general support of the sport in the Tahoe Basin should attend. They can take advantage of being a part of an organized group that can educate the public, plan special events and competitions, improve trails and track, work with government agencies and cooperate with other clubs concerned with some of the same issues. Being part of a club is also fun for the whole family and can be great for the community.

Election of club officers, choosing a club name and mascot, discussion about goals and formation of action committees will take place at Thursday’s meeting. Beverages will be served and attendees are encouraged to bring snacks.
