Motorcycle ride to remember fallen soldiers

The Tribute to Fallen Soldiers Memorial Torch Motorcycle Ride will stop in Stateline, Nev., on July 31.

The ride will stop at Horizon Resort & Casino between noon and 12:30 p.m. Motorcycle riders, law enforcement, fire department vehicles and guests are expected to take part in the procession. Once the Fallen Soldiers Memorial Torch arrives, we’ll hold an official arrival ceremony will be held to present the memorial torch to the community of Stateline, Nev. South Lake Tahoe Mayor Tom Davis and Gold Star families are expected to attend. A military bell ringing ceremony will also be held to remember all of the fallen soldiers from the region.
