Motorcycle show rolls into Carson City

BMT Promotions will present its seventh annual British-European Vintage Motorcycle Show & Swap Meet July 21 and 22 at Carson City, Nev. The show and swap meet will take place at Fuji Park and the AHRMA Vintage Moto-X is scheduled at the Champion Speedway.

Gates open at 7 a.m. and no on-site camping is available. Dogs must be on leash. Remember that Nevada is a helmet state. Admission on Saturday is $2 for adults 18 and older, $1 for youths 12 to 17 and free for children under 12 accompanied by an adult. The cost for the Moto-X is $5 and includes races and pits.

The fee is $20 for the first show bike and $10 thereafter. A 15- by 30-foot swap space is available for $30. A “For Sale” corral will be available at $10 each with two bikes per person.



Show classes include Prewar, up to 1945 Streetbike; Postwar, 1945 through 1955 Streetbike; Classic, 1956 through 1967 Streetbike; Late Classic, 1968 through 1980 Streetbike; Dirt Track Racer, through 1980; Moto-X, Trials, Road Racer, 2-Stroke through 1980; Moto-X, Trials, Road Racer, 4-Stroke through 1980; and Original Unrestored, through 1967.
