Movie shoot features Gardnerville Basque bar

GARDNERVILLE, Nev. – Dakota Fanning and Emile Hirsch were in Gardnerville today for the filming of a movie “The Motel Life,” based on a novel about two brothers who flee a Reno motel a fatal hit and run accident.

The film crew took over the J.T. Basque Bar & Dining Room on Tuesday morning and set up lights for a scene coming out of the restaurant.

There have been several reports that Fanning was spotted shopping at Target and patronizing the local Starbucks.
