Multiple Sclerosis walk in May

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Northern Nevada and North Eastern office will hold their annual Walk MS event at Lake Tahoe this May.

More than 200 walkers are expected to come out and help raise the goal of $25,000. Funds raised will support direct services for the people with MS and their families in Lake Tahoe as well as research to find a cure for this chronic disease of the central nervous system.

The walk begins at Camp Richardson May 7. Check-in is at 8 a.m. and the walks begins at 8:45 a.m.

People can participate in Walk MS individually or as a team. Volunteers are also needed.
