Musicians moving up

Several students from the Eric Hellberg Drum Studios in South Lake Tahoe are moving ahead in the music world.

Nicole Grant, known as Nikki G., Jason Paul and Cary White recently graduated with music performance degrees from Musicians Institute in Los Angeles.

Ben Meyer, who received a degree in recording engineering from the Conservatory of Recording Arts/Sciences in Tempe, Ariz., is running West Beach Studios in Hollywood.



Danny Fascinetti graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in sociology and political science.

Mikey Ledesma is attending L.A. Music Academy, and Teddy Milojevich is at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles.



Up and coming students are Adrian Torres, Michelle Pappas, Cole Baginski, Danny Barnes, Summy Fatehyr and Todd Hayes, Whittell High School; Jimmy Roberts, Nick Stewart, Dane Gorevin and John Terry, South Tahoe High School; and Cooper Stanley and CJ Lindner, South Tahoe Middle School.
