SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – South Shore narcotics officers released the names of two people arrested during a methamphetamine bust on Sierra Boulevard Tuesday.

Joseph Michael Camarena, 20, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale and transportation of a controlled substance in connection with the raid.

He also has three no-bail warrants out of the Stockton area for burglary and possession of stolen property, said Jeff Catchings, South Lake El Dorado Narcotics Enforcement Task Force commander. Camarena is a confirmed Norteno gang member, Catchings said.

Tiffany Benton, 39, was also arrested Tuesday for allegedly maintaining a residence for unlawful activities, Catchings said.
