A story in Thursday’s Tahoe Daily Tribune reported a recent cooling in the real estate market over the last couple of months, while coming off a 26 percent increase in the single family homes sold from 2004 to 2005.

— Median price of homes sold in 2005: $475,000 (up 26 percent from prior year)
