New canine training series starts Jan. 3

The Lake Tahoe Humane Society and S.P.C.A. is sponsoring a six-week series of dog training classes designed to promote bonding, dependable good behavior and fun activities with dogs.

Classes are held at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center, 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd. Cost is $130 for the six-week session.

Only positive reinforcement training methods are used: no choke chains, pinch collars or physical restraint is involved. Instructors are from “Dog Training by PJ.”



A variety of beginning and advanced classes are offered for puppies to adult dogs. For individual attention, class size is limited to 10 participants. For information and to register, call the Lake Tahoe Humane Society and S.P.C.A. at (530) 542-2857.
