Submitted to the Tribune

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – “Christopher’s Closet,” a new children’s clothing exchange that is coming to the South Shore, is now accepting donations of gently used children’s clothing, baby items, children’s furniture and non-broken toys and other children’s items.

The store plans to open May 21 in the Swiss Chalet Village at 2540 Lake Tahoe Blvd. in Suite No. 1.

Children’s items can donated, exchanged for store credit or exchanged for cash. If you would like to donate items at this time, please contact Annette at 530-318-4433 or email us at christopherscloset@yahoo.com.

Christopher’s Closet is in the process of obtaining a non-profit affiliation with Special Spaces, a non-profit organization that creates special spaces for children facing life threatening illness. The special space can be whatever the child wishes. Whether it be a themed bedroom, a game room or a tree house in the back yard.
