New classes offered at Kahle

Kahle Community Center, 236 Kingsbury Grade, is offering the following classes that are new to the center.

Hawaiian Hula is offered for ages 10 and up. Two classes will take place on Mondays. One is from 2 to 3 p.m. and the other from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $30 for session of $10 drop-in fee. Barry Yap will share his studies of Hawaiian culture, history, translation stories and song.

For youth there is Adventure Leadership for grades five through eight from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. Feb. 11. Challenging fun activities that encourage and build imagination, strengthen thinking and build optimism will be taught. The cost is $12.
