New Public Information Officer for Caltrans
After a 26-year-career at the California Department of Transportation, District 3 Public Affairs Officer Pat Miller is retiring March 26.
“It has truly been a pleasure working with everyone these past 26 years,” Miller said. “I must admit I will miss the interaction and the excitement of working with the media.”
Miller will be replaced by Laura Featherstone, who has been employed as a Caltrans training coordinator for the past year.
“Basically, I’ll be writing press releases, disseminating information to the public and the media, and producing display ads for workshops,” Featherstone said.
