Newlywed couple to make home in Tahoe

Sara Leete and John Lillard exchanged wedding vows Aug. 18 at the Lakefront Wedding Chapel. The 4 p.m. double-ring ceremony was performed by Minister Jana Walker and witnessed by 70 family members and friends.

The bride is the daughter of Tara McIntosh of South Lake Tahoe and Richard Leete of Oregon. The bridegroom is the son of Nancy Beni of South Lake Tahoe and Robert Lillard of Santa Maria, Calif.

Given in marriage by her uncle, Calvin Grimm, the bride was attired in a floor-length ivory silk wedding gown and chapel-length veil, both adored with pearls. She carried a bouquet of ivory and lavender roses.



Maid of honor was Sally Sousa of South Lake Tahoe. She wore a floor-length purple velvet dress and carried a bouquet of lavender roses. Bridesmaid was the bride’s niece, Amanda Dabel of South Lake Tahoe.

Best man was the bridegroom’s brother, Frank Delgado of Cameron Park, Calif., and groomsman was the bridegroom’s nephew, Jake Peralta of South Lake Tahoe.



Immediately following the ceremony the newlyweds greeted their guests at Tep’s Villa Roma. They have established their home at South Lake Tahoe.

The bride is a graduate of South Tahoe High School and Lake Tahoe Community College. She is a receptionist for Lake Tahoe Accommodations.

The bridegroom graduated from South Tahoe High School and is an electrician with Sierra Valley Electric.
