No injuries in Dumpster fire Monday night
ZEPHYR COVE, Nev. – Authorities were unable to determine the cause of a Dumpster fire Monday night near Lakeshore Boulevard and Highway 50, said Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Dave Hekhuis.
Crews from the TDFPD and Douglas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the blaze about 11 p.m. Monday. The fire was near the Round Hill Village Shopping Center.
“Anytime a fire is near a structure, we make the assumption and respond as if the structure is involved to be on the safe side,” Hekhuis said. “We plan for the worst.”
No one was injured in the fire.
