No one injured in June Way house fire
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Fire officials are examining the cause of a house fire Saturday night that damaged a vacation rental on June Way.
The people renting the home were out to dinner at the time of the fire and were not injured. No firefighters were injured in the incident.
Three engines and two ambulances arrived at the burning two-story house on June Way at about 9 p.m. Saturday. The kitchen and living room were “well involved with the fire and firefighters found heavy heat and smoke conditions in the rest of the structure,” according to a release from South Lake Tahoe Fire.
It took about 3 hours for firefighters to contain and extinguish the fire.
