OLYMPIC VALLEY, Calif. – Two of the three North Tahoe men charged with maintaining an illegal marijuana grow near Olympic Valley are scheduled to stand before a Tahoe City judge next week.
Steven Day, 48, of Olympic Valley, Matthew Steele, 28 of Tahoe City, and Christopher Egger, 23, of Tahoe City, were arrested Oct. 1 for allegedly trying to harvest a 200-plant grow in an area north of Squaw Valley.
Day and Steele face separate preliminary hearings before Placer County Superior Court Judge Trilla Bahrke in Tahoe City. Proceedings begin at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23.
Officials with the county’s district attorney’s office said a court date hasn’t yet been set for Egger.
The three each face a trio of felony charges – conspiracy to sell, possession of marijuana for sale and marijuana cultivation.
