Northstar to host Tough Mudder

Staff report

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Northstar California recently announced it will host the rugged Tough Mudder race in September.

The Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile obstacle course designed by British Special Forces to test all-around strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie.

“We’re excited to host Tough Mudder at Northstar this fall as it is known as one of the most challenging endurance events,” said Bill Rock, chief operating officer at Northstar. “And, knowing participants help raise money for such a worthy cause as the Wounded Warrior Project, makes it even better.”

Registration is now open with “early bird” rates available through Jan. 31 for $95. The entry fee includes an event t-shirt, one beer and live music during the post-race party.
