Obama to visit Carson City and Reno today

Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama will visit Reno and Carson City as part of a campaign tour.

He is vying for the Democratic presidential nomination against front-runners Hillary Clinton and John Edwards.

Obama’s visit comes before Nevada’s Jan. 19 caucus, which is slated to be the first major caucus on the West Coast.



The Illinois senator is scheduled to appear at the Reno Events Center today. Doors open at 11 a.m. Later in the day, he will speak at the Carson City Community Center at 7 p.m.
