Obit — Carolyn Clodius

No services are scheduled at this time for Carolyn Clodius, who died Jan. 22, 2003, at her home in Carson City, Nev. She was 73.

Mrs. Clodius was born Jan. 6, 1930, in California to John Hinmon and Veda Cross Hinmon. She had worked as an executive secretary for the Retail Clerks Union in Bueno Park, Calif., for 20 years before retiring in 1979. Mrs. Clodius lived at South Lake Tahoe for several years, where she worked at the El Dorado County Library, and had been a resident of Carson City since 1998. She was a past member of Eastern Star, an avid reader and loved music, playing the piano, singing and her cats. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting. Later in life, she enjoyed chatting with friends and family on her computer.

She is survived by daughters, Cynthia Warren of Montara, Calif., and Deborah Bisel of South Lake Tahoe; granddaughter, Geneva Bisel of South Lake Tahoe; sister, Myra Robinson of Sun City, Calif.; and brothers, Tom Hinmon of Roseville, Calif., and John Hinmon of Hemet, Calif. She was predeceased by brothers, Jim, Harry and Richard Hinmon.



Arrangements are by Walton’s Chapel of the Valley in Carson City.
