Obit — John Peter Jensen

Funeral services will take place Oct. 28 for John Peter Jensen, who died Oct. 22, 2002, at his home in Carson City, Nev. He was 67.

Mr. Jensen was born June 30, 1935, at Copenhagen, Denmark, to Peter Clemmesen and Edith Jensen. He attended school in Denmark and served in the Danish military following high school. He came to the United States in 1962. He was a master baker in Denmark, owned bakeries in the San Francisco Bay Area and worked in sales until retiring one year ago. He enjoyed cooking, baking and traveling with his family as his children were growing up and traveling to Denmark to visit his family.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Ina Jensen-Stewart; sons, Jimmi Jensen of South Lake Tahoe and Kim Jensen of Carson City; sisters, Yvonne, Kristin and Ingelise, all of Denmark; grandchildren, Derek and Dana Jensen of South Lake Tahoe and Ina Jensen of Chili, S.A.; and daughter-in-law, Darlene Jensen of South Lake Tahoe.



Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Oct. 28 at FitzHenry’s Chapel of Faith, 833 N. Edmonds Drive, Carson City.
