Obit-Miriam F. Carlson

Memorial services will take place Oct. 6 for Miriam F. Carlson, who died Sept. 25, 2002, at her home in South Lake Tahoe. She was 82.

Mrs. Carlson was born Jan. 3, 1920, at Maui, Hawaii, and h ad been a 20-year resident of South Lake Tahoe. She was a postal worker for many years and enjoyed gardening and gaming, especially the slots.

She is survived by her daughter, Tamiko of Los Angeles, Calif.; sister, Eunice Nakasone of Hawaii; and grandchildren, Laurel and Joli. She was predeceased by her husband, Steve Carlson, six years ago.



Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m. Oct. 6 at Calvary Chapel, 2100 Eloise Ave. Inurnment will follow at Happy Homestead Cemetery.
