Obit — Raymond E. Baxter

No services are scheduled for Raymond E. Baxter, who died Nov. 12, 2002, at his home in Carson City, Nev. He was 79.

Mr. Baxter was born April 10, 1923, at Cleveland, Ohio, to Raymond M. Baxter and Myrtle Standley. He served in the U.S. Army Corp. during World War II and had been a surveyor for 37 years. He married Frankie O’Neill Dec. 21, 1951, at Northridge, Calif. Mr. Baxter had been a resident of South Lake Tahoe before moving to Carson City 12 1/2 years ago. He enjoyed wood working and traveling with his wife.

He is survived by his wife, Frankie Baxter of Carson City; son, Ken Baxter of Carson City; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by parents and brother, Edwin Moore Baxter.
