Obit — William Eldon Lefever

Graveside services will take place Dec. 5 for William Eldon Lefever, who died Nov. 29, 2002, at Sun City West, Ariz. He was 76.

Mr. Lefever was born July 6, 1926, at Springfield, Mo. He served in the Army Air Corp and was in the South Pacific during World War II. Mr. Lefever had been a California Highway Patrolman for 30 years before he retired in 1984. He was a resident of South Lake Tahoe prior to moving to Arizona in 1986. He had been a member of El Dorado Lodge No. 26 F&AM, Placerville, Calif.; Sun City West Meridian Lodge No. 78 F&AM, Sun City West, Ariz.; El Zaribah Shrine Temple, Phoenix, Ariz.; and Sun City Elks Lodge No. 2559, Sun City, Ariz.

He is survived by his son, Michael M. Lefever; step-son, Neil Newkirk; stepdaughter, Kay Weiser; nephew, Geary Parrott, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Dec. 5 at Westwood Hills Memorial Park, 2720 Cold Springs Road, Placerville, Calif.
