The ‘Gifted Geezer’ Mr. Curtis Shedden passed away on December 1, 2020 at the age of 72 in Reno, NV. Curtis was born and raised in Rochester, NY on April 18, 1948 to Virginia (Ginny) and Bernard (Shadd) Shedden. Curtis windsurfed, skied and motorcycled through his adventurous life; allowing it to take him through the Western United States, Mexico, Sherman Island and in Washington on the Columbia River Gorge.
Curtis ultimately settled in South Tahoe where he was a skilled finish carpenter whose work you can see in the finer homes along the shoreline. Curtis and his son, Tyler bonded over their love of cooking in which Tyler became a successful chef in his own right. Curtis is survived by his loving Son, Tyler Ferrell Shedden (Toronto) and Susan; Grandsons, Henry (9) and Owen (6) and his two younger sisters; Carol Shedden May (North Carolina) and Pam Shedden Keese (Colorado).
The family will be planning a service for Curtis on the water in the Spring or Summer of 2021.
