Digger Boggs Gooch

“Taken Too Soon”

Digger was taken from us far too early at the age of 37 on February 10, 2017. He was born in South Lake Tahoe and then moved with us to Pollock Pines and spent his childhood there. In his adulthood he did return to South Lake Tahoe for a time and also lived in Santa Cruz. No matter where he lived he always had many friends. Digger had recently moved back to Kyburz to take an active part in our lives.

Digger was as unique as his name. He was a generous, caring, and loving man of many talents which included being: artistic, creative, and musical. He loved trees and being high up them so that he could see all the beauty, his most current job fit him to a tee – he worked for a tree company. He was a hard worker and always gave 100%. Digger had an amazing smile that could brighten and warm all the hearts of those around him. He also had a keen sense of humor and kept everyone on their toes and laughing. However, the most important trait he had was the deep love and dedication for his family.

He is lovingly survived by his father, Jerry; his mother, Barbara; his sister, Rachel; Grandmothers, Grandfather, several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Let us take solace that where Diggers soul is – he is making it a much more loving and fun place to be for us when we are reunited again.

The family invites you to a service celebrating Diggers’ life on Friday, March 3rd at 1:00 pm at the Green Valley Church, 3500 Missouri Flat Rd., Placerville, CA with reception to follow.

Rest now Digger, you are in loving hands and true peace.
