Gerald P. Hallett, Sr.

Gerald P. Hallett, Sr. passed away on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018 in South Lake Tahoe, Ca.

Gerald was born in New York City on March 24, 1940 and lived there until age 20 when he came to California and met his future wife Michele. They were married at South Lake Tahoe in 1963 and lived in Marin County where they raised two sons, Michael (Hawaii) and Gerald, Jr. (South Lake Tahoe). They had five grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

Gerald and Michele owned and operated three security system companies covering the San Francisco Bay Area for 40 years.

In his 20’s and 30’s, Gerald was and avid skier and scuba diver and then became an avid sailor in his 40’s – 60’s. In 1994, he and Michele sailed their boat, “Mickie’s Finn-Again” to Mexico for a three-year adventure.

Gerald was a member of Rotary International for 20 years and a member of American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) for over 25 years.

His parting was sudden and un-expected and he will be missed by his family and friends.
