Mary Ann (Brinkman) Miler

August 3, 1939 – September 27, 2020

Mary Ann Miler of Simi Valley and South Lake Tahoe, CA passed away suddenly at her home on September 27. Mary Ann was born in Eau Claire, WI in 1939.

After moving to St. Paul, MN as a young girl, she graduated high school and married her sweetheart, Dick Miler. She loved raising her five children. She and Dick moved their family to Simi Valley, CA in the early ’70’s, where they became very involved with Little League. Mary Ann enjoyed coaching, scorekeeping, and being on the board of the local league. Together, they created the home where everyone wanted to hang out! Mary Ann’s biggest joy was becoming a grandmother. She took great joy in helping her grandchildren learn life every day. After her husband retired, they moved to South Lake Tahoe where they spent 12 happy years before Dick’s passing. Last year, Mary Ann moved back to Simi Valley to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

Mary Ann is survived by her children, Patti, Ken (Tracy), Keith (Bryce), Rick (Robin), eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her husband Dick, her daughter Beth, her brothers, Wally and Jim, and her parents Teresa and Walter.

Her family will celebrate her life next summer in Lake Tahoe with a private service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Judes’s in Mary Ann’s name would be greatly appreciated.
