Brett Allen Pedrioli Garrett passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2022 in San Francisco, CA, he was 24 years old. Brett was born in South Lake Tahoe at Barton Memorial Hospital on March 11, 1998. He attended the Lake Tahoe Environmental Magnet Science School, South Tahoe Middle School, and South Tahoe High. He is survived by his sisters Sophia Garrett and Lana Vineyard, his mother Carrie Pedrioli, his father Brian Garrett, his grandpa and grandma Rick and Barbara Pedrioli, his grandma Barbara Garrett and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was proceeded in death by his grandpa Lawrence “Larry” Allen Garrett who he had a special connection with.
Brett loved baseball, music, skiing and had an intense passion for skateboarding. Brett spent most of his days growing up in South Lake Tahoe at the Bijou skate park or at the Skate House. He left Tahoe at 18 and spent most of the last 6 years in San Francisco, where he found a group of friends that became his second family. Brett’s kickin’ it now in the Big Rock Candy Mountains, bombing hills and resting in the shade of the cigarette trees. Love you sweet boy.
A celebration of life will be held for Brett at Bijou Park on September 24, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Kiwanis Gazebo, followed by a reception at 1:30 pm at the Skate House. In leu of flowers, there is a go fund me account: https://gofund.me/94e1ec1f
