Richard R McDonald

Richard R McDonald passed away June 21, 2016, peacefully, at his home in Zephyr Heights. He was born in New York December 12, 1937, to parents Charlotte and Roland McDonald. Richard served four years in the US Air Force. He lived in Santa Monica for several years, before moving to Lake Tahoe in the early seventies. He always considered Tahoe to be his home. Richard tended bar at the Sahara, Kingsbury Lanes, and The Met. He was a world traveler, and loved to share the stories of his travels with his friends. Richard had a kind and gentle soul, and was generous to a flaw. He was loved by all who knew him, and will be dearly missed.
A celebration of life will be held at Roundhill Pines Beach on Sunday, September 25th, at 2 PM. All are welcome to come and share their wonderful memories of Richard.
