Ruth Rajewsky, age 89, passed away on Friday, July 29th, 2016. Ruth was living in Carson City at the time she passed.

Ruth was born in Berlin, Germany, March 8th, 1927. She married Georg Rajewsky after the war and had a son, Georg, while living in Sydney, Australia. They soon immigrated to the U.S. Ruth went to nursing school in Los Angeles and became an RN. She worked in surgery most of her career. Ruth and Georg retired to Lake Tahoe in 1980. She lived in South Shore until March of this year.

Ruth was very active while enjoying her retirement. She worked as a tour guide showing many Europeans the beautiful western United States. She played bridge religiously and traveled the world whenever she could. Ruth loved sewing, books, gardening and most of all her dogs.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Georg, and is survived by her son Georg and his wife Debbie.
