Ruthann Meraz
November 13, 1947 ~ August 19, 2016
Long time resident of South Lake Tahoe and 25 year nurse at Barton Memorial Hospital, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, August 19, 2016. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, on November 13, 1947. She graduated from St. Gregory High School in 1965. Ruthann loved to fish with her devoted husband Richard, who took good care of her for many years during her illness. They were married for 39 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Ben Panke and her sister, Susie Panke.
She leaves behind her husband, Richard; brother, Bob Panke; step-daughter, Jamie Meraz; step-son, Chris Meraz; her loving cat Korina and long time friend Donna McLelland.
