Linda Lee (Everts) Ingram

No services are planned at this time for Linda Lee (Everts) Ingram, who died May 25, 2004, at her home in South Lake Tahoe. She was 60.

Linda was born June 15, 1943, in San Jose, Calif., to Virginia (Scott) Everts and was adopted by her stepfather, Melvin Everts. She grew up in San Jose and graduated from Del Mar High School. She had lived in South Lake Tahoe since 1964. She was known as an avid gardener, fisherman and animal lover. People would stop to admire her front yard and when she took them around back, they just stared in awe. Linda and her husband, Chuck, taught many children and adults the joy of fishing at Echo Lake.

She is survived by her husband, Forrest “Chuck” Ingram of South Lake Tahoe; son, William Charles Ingram of South Lake Tahoe; sister, Judith Katsinis of Salem, Ore.; brothers, Michael Everts of Medford, Ore., and Gary Everts of San Jose, Calif.; three grandchildren; and her beloved pets, Heidi, Sunny, Stormy and Troubles.

A memorial gathering will be planned when Linda’s garden is in full bloom.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Hospice of South Lake Tahoe, 2092 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150.
