Obituary: Alma Haskett

Funeral services and interment will take place at Kaysville, Utah, for Alma H. Haskett, who died Feb. 26, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital in Carson City. She was 81.

Mrs. Haskell was born Nov. 6, 1918, to John Hassan and Pearl (Wart) Hall at Baker, Ore. She had been a resident of Auburn, Wash., before moving to South Lake Tahoe five years ago. The manager of apartment complexes, she was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary in Washington and Sierra Community Church at South Lake Tahoe. She loved gardening.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Haskell of South Lake Tahoe; sons, Dale Huffman of Spokane, Wash., Wes Huffman of Ogden, Utah, Mike Huffman of Boise, Idaho, Patrick Martin of Tacoma, Wash., and Denny Weimer of South Lake Tahoe, daughters, Shirley Emerson of Layton, Utah, and Bev Waddell of South Lake Tahoe; sisters, Pearlie Pallo of Boise, Idaho, and Naioma Sprier of Baker, Ore.; 28 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Ron Huffman.

Arrangements are by FitzHenry’s Funeral Home in Carson City.
