Obituary- Bruce O. ‘Brick’ Rentch

Memorial services will be Saturday, Sept. 29 for Bruce O. “Brick” Rentch, who died Sept. 26, 2001, at Arlington, Va. He was 90.

Mr. Rentch was born March 13, 1911, at Martinsburg, W. Va., to George and Rosa Rentch. A resident of Arlington, Va., he had been a frequent visitor to Lake Tahoe through the years.

Survivors include his wife of 51/2 years, Jean Hull Luks Rentch of Arlington; sons, Charles Lawrence Rentch of Southport, N.C., and Bruce Wayne Rentch of Stateline, Nev.; brother, John Kenneth Rentch of Florence, S.C.; sister, Catherine Rentch Shufelt of Hagerstown, Md.; two granddaughters, three grandsons, four great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters, one stepdaughter, two stepsons and one step-granddaughter. He was predeceased by his first wife of 61 years, Bernice Starliper Rentch.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sept. 29 at Bethel United Church of Christ, Arlington. Graveside services will take place at 3 p.m., Sept. 30 at Rosedale Cemetery in Martinsburg, W. Va.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to made to the Bethel United Church of Christ or Hospice of Northern Nevada.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home at Martinsburg.
