Obituary: Carl W. Womack

Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 21 for Carl W. Womack, who died March 16, 2001, at Carson Tahoe Hospital, Carson City. He was 70.

Mr. Womack was born Nov. 4,1930, at Long Beach, Calif., and had been a resident of South Lake Tahoe for the past 13 years. Before his retirement he worked for General Telephone Company for 27 years. After moving to South Lake Tahoe he worked for Grant Wolf Inc., as a courier and was co-owner of Lake Tahoe Apartments.

Survivors include his longtime companion, Marilyn Milholland of South Lake Tahoe; sons, Carl Womack of Orange, Calif., Gary Womack of Simi Valley, Calif., Shane Womack of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Denny Womack of Huntington Beach, Calif.; brothers, Roy Womack of Los Alamitos, Calif., and Jim Womack of Simi Valley; sisters, Audrie Wyant of Lake Montezuma, Ariz., and Martha Hinkley of San Clemente, Calif.; former wife, Jimmie Ann Lane of Long Beach, Calif.; and 12 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. March 21 at Happy Homestead Cemetery.
