Obituary: Charles Raymond Fisher

No formal services are planned for Charles Raymond Fisher, who died Aug. 2, 2000, at Barton Memorial Hospital. He was 70.

Mr. Fisher was born May 5, 1930, at Oakland, Calif., and had been a resident of South Lake Tahoe since 1968. A member of the Moose Lodge of South Lake Tahoe No. 1632, he served in the U.S. Navy and was a former member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Juanita Fisher of South Lake Tahoe; sons and daughters-in-law, Rich and Rose Fisher of Baja, Mexico and South Lake Tahoe and Aaron and Mary Fisher of Coleville, Calif., and South Lake Tahoe; daughter, Leslie Schwab of South Lake Tahoe; grandchildren, Paul and Michael Fisher, Jessica and Daniel Schwab and Adam, Karina and Ben Fisher; and great-grandson, Dylan Lance. He also will be missed by her pet dog, Gypsy. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Darrell Fisher; and sisters, June Kelly and Norma Galyan.
