Obituary: Charlot von Frankenberg

No services are planned for Charlot von Frankenberg, who died March 2, 2001, at Barton Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. She was 92.

Mrs. von Frankenberg was born May 1908 at Berlin, Germany, and had been a resident of South Lake Tahoe for the past 21 years. She had witnessed the horrors of two World Wars but always exhibited an independent spirit, especially during her past few years. She was an avid cat lover and always had a story or two to tell. She loved to sit in the warm afternoon sun and listen to the birds and enjoy the blooming flowers in the spring and summertime. She especially appreciated the staff at Barton Skilled Nursing for all their care and support during her past few weeks.

She leaves no survivors and was predeceased by her husband, Helmut Frankenberg.



No services are planned and inurnment was at Happy Homestead Cemetery.
