Tahoe Daily Tribune

Memorial services will take place this spring at the Mendocino Headlands, Calif., for Craig Allen Tingle, who died Feb. 21, 2003.

Craig was born Jan. 21, 1956 and grew up in the foothills of the Sierra in Murphys and Bear Valley, Calif. He spent his childhood summers at North Shore and, in his twenties, lived in Tahoe City, Calif. He moved to South Lake Tahoe in the early 1990s from Fort Bragg, Calif.

During his life, he built houses on the California coast and also worked as a cook. For the last ten years, he worked for Yellow Cab Co. of South Lake Tahoe as a driver and dispatcher. Craig met his wife, Adriana Maggie Tingle, in South Lake Tahoe. They were married at a sunset ceremony by the lake on Sep. 9, 1992. Craig was a good man, well-liked and trusted by those who knew him. He fought the brave fight up to the end, with his wife and cat by his side.

Craig is survived by his wife, Maggie; his mother, Diane Tingle; stepson, Jason John Sirignano; cousins, Gregori and Suzy Mathers, Lizzie DeMuccie, Polly Bridick, Betty Kelly, Rochel Kelly and Krist Kelly; and many good friends he considered as his family. He was predeceased by his father, Bobby Tingle.

Donations can be made in his name to Barton Memorial Hospital Hospice. Arrangements have been made through Family Options Tribute Services.
